MUBS Chess Open 3rd Edition — Registration Still Open!
The wait is almost over. The MUBS Chess Open Tournament has a new date, and it's bigger than ever.
To make room for the AUUS Qualifiers for the World University Games, happening 22nd–23rd August 2026, MUBS Chess Club has moved the tournament to give more players a fair shot at competing.

New Date: 15th August 2026
This shift means more time for you to register and prepare for one of the biggest university chess events of the year.

Go head-to-head with strong players across the country
Compete for cash prizes, trophies, medals, and certificates
Test your nerve in a 7-round, 15+5 Rapid Rated tournament
