The Kampala Chess Festival returns on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM at Asifiwe International School, Kisaasi.
This exciting one-day event is open to young players across multiple age categories: U6, U8, U10, U12, and U14, with both Rated and Unrated sections available. Participants will battle it out in 8 rounds of exciting rapid chess with a time control of 15 minutes + 2 seconds increment.
Whether your child is a rising prodigy or taking their first steps in competitive chess, this festival offers a fun, well-organized, and competitive environment.
