Serves as Deputy President of the Uganda Chess Federation (UCF), where he contributes to the governance and development of chess in Uganda. He is an active player affiliated with Kireka Chess Club.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Makerere University and is an alumnus of Busoga College Mwiri.
